How do you identify coins with damaged edges or holes?
Some of my inherited coins have holes, bent edges, or heavy damage. Can any tools still identify them and give value estimates?

Damaged coins are harder to identify, but many apps can still match them if enough design details remain visible. You may need to take photos from multiple angles and under bright light. The tool will usually suggest the closest match and note that damage lowers the value significantly. It’s still useful to know the original type.
